Tesla Officially Announced the Refreshed 2024 Model 3 code-named 'Project Highland' with Ambient Lighting, Rear Screen, and Ventilated Heated and cooling Seats.
Tesla’s very public secret, codenamed Project Highland, will be in showrooms in China and available to order. Europeans can see details of the refreshed Model 3 electric sedan online at the Tesla website and will begin to receive deliveries in October and for the U.K. in 2024.
The new updated Model 3 is now selling in China, Australia, and New Zealand and went on display for the first time at a trade fair in Beijing on Saturday, September 2.

There has also been a slight redesign of the hood (bonnet for the English readers) which now flicks slightly upwards towards the end of the front window to improve aerodynamics and reduce wind noise. According to Tesla, the new Model 3 is the most aerodynamic car they now sell, reducing the drag-coefficient to 0.219cd from 0.225cd.
2024 Tesla Model 3 interior Upgrade
Two smartphone wireless charging pads have been added to the center console design, along with actual metal handles and a 65W USB-C charger that provides enough power to charge almost any USB-C device, including a laptop. There are 17 speakers on the stereo with two subwoofers and two amplifiers. The faux-leather upholstery has been upgraded and has breathable perforations; ventilated and heated front seats are standard, which cold-weather drivers will appreciate in winter and in summer, with cool air blowing on your back through the perforated seat vents.
An additional 8-inch touchscreen for infotainment and climate control has been installed at the back of the center console, exclusively for the convenience of the passengers seated at the rear. This screen enables the back-seat passengers to regulate the temperature inside the vehicle and indulge in entertainment activities watching movies or playing games. The ventilation system has also been improved, allowing the passenger-side air to be turned off while also having different fan speeds or vica versa.

Upgraded Suspension
The upgraded suspension provides a better, more premium ride with new springs & dampers, new geometry on the front suspension, new bushings, and a new technique for how the subframe is mounted to the chassis. The tires also have softer cushioning for an improved ride but as a compromise reduce top speed a little to 125 mph.
