Live iFit Workouts with NordicTrack and ProForm
Does iFit Have Live Classes?
Live iFit Update:
The iFit fitness platform now offers on-demand workouts for its subscription members. During the Covid19 Pandemic at the time of writing, iFit adapted to the situation by having its trainers stream live classes from their home gyms and using their neighborhood as a backdrop for outside training sessions.
Live iFit workouts are now back to an on-demand basis, but still with some live events, being live-streamed. None-the-less within this article, you may find some useful information and links about iFit and how it can help you achieve your wellness goals for fitness or weight loss.
LIVE iFIT Classes Now On Air
iFit continues its update momentum as it forges ahead with workout classes becoming one of the leading interactive exercise apps. There are also several new additions and enhancements to the iFit app that add more fun to your workouts on Nordictrack and Proform treadmills, indoor bikes, incline trainers, ellipticals and rowers.
iFit Trainers are now working out from home live — using their home gyms and sometimes their natural local surroundings and neighborhood….to broadcast Live iFit classes every day for you to follow as you workout on and off your equipment.
Live class sessions are currently available on treadmills and bikes, just Tap the "On-Air" icon on the bottom right side on your bike or treadmill touchscreen to view a currently live airing segment. No need to schedule a workout you can just jump right in! There are also live cross-training classes from boxing to strength building that do not require any equipment.
iFit Trainers’ Live home gym Workouts
Some Live classes combine exercise on and off your equipment which includes strength training, stretching, boxing and more. It is interesting to see how trainers have adapted and set-up their home gyms, so maybe you will get some new ideas for yours.
Live iFit class trainers include favorites like:
John Peel, Elyse Miller, Chris and Stacie Clark, Gideon Akande, Ashley Paulson, Hannah Eden, Paulo Baretto.
New iFit Additions include:

The iFit app can be used independent of exercise equipment so now you can take iFit with you. LIVE Outdoor Workouts
iFit also has introduced Live Workouts…outside. LIVE train with instructors following them as they lead you through runs on local scenic trail treks, hikes or rides around their own neighborhoods.
When deemed safe to do so iFit also intends to add Live Global Workouts — filmed across the globe so you will have the option to take Live classes from international locations. Meanwhile you can join great on-demand workouts, shot on location across all seven continents, from the comfort of home as you ascend up a segment of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa or hike - run Machu Picchu, an Incan citadel high up in the Andes Mountains of Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. See short video clip below.
The iFit Waiting Room
iFit trainers are extremely knowledgeable, personable and love sharing — so ask away! If you arrive about 10 minutes prior to the start of a Live class, you can join the waiting room. Simply scan a QR Code on your smartphone to text your trainer, and they will respond to your questions and comments.
iFit Leaderboard Supports Live Classes
Prior to a legal settlement with Peloton, on its iFit enabled treadmills, rowers and bikes, you could compete in real time using the iFit Leader board. There were additional filter options, specifically for Live classes. The filter options were: “Today” and “Right Now.” To access and apply these filters while in a workout, you could tap Filter > History > and then select your desired filter options.
