Touchscreen size is a main obvious difference between the 2450 and 1750.
The latest Commercial 2450 is now a 22-inch FHD touchscreen, while the Commercial 1750 treadmill has a 14-inch FHD touchscreen. The 8+ inches make for an overall better experience when working out with iFit trainer-led destination workouts, like a bedroom-beach run or a hike in the mountains. The imagery really does pop on the bigger screen and is particularly helpful when doing any off-the-treadmill / on-the-mat cross-training sessions using the display. As you can see below both treadmill consoles have a great amount of rotation adjustment to them as seen in the two images below. We did find the workout stats a little easier to read on the larger 22-inch display.
OUR TAKE – both screen sizes deliver good graphics quality images, and it's more a matter of preference and budget.
Screen viewing Angle
Compared to the Nordictrack EXP models all Nordictrack Commercial treadmills, have a lot more flexibility when adjusting the viewing angle of your touchscreen display. Both treadmills’ consoles have a 360° twist rotation swivel as well as being able to tilt or pivot of 60° to give you the best viewing angle for height adaptability, or for off-the-treadmill wellness workouts, like meditation and yoga or for more energetic iFit cross-training ones such as with boxing and strength-training. As a note, the Peloton Tread Treadmill console does not rotate.
Extra Console Features
With both these treads you will find designed in just below the touchscreen there’s a cooling fan with an option known as AutoBreeze, aimed to keep you cooler by increasing the output of the fan as your workout intensity increases. You can decide whether to enable this option or not and just run the fan at a constant speed. Some of our team members loved it, while others found it a little distracting —It’s a personal choice.
Both NordicTrack treadmills are Bluetooth enabled, allowing you to use your favorite wireless AirPods or headphones. Also Designed into the touchscreen console are two 30-Watt, front-facing speakers that deliver a quality directional sound if you prefer to go loud.
Below you can see iFit Guide, Ramy Romany, on the Ancient Egypt Walking Tour Series which is a fun quick moving series with interesting sights, history and talking points. On the other extreme you can tackle a summit hike up Mt Everest to Base Camp with English Climbing Legend, Kenton Cool or run along cool Beaches in Thailand with John Peel and Betina Gozo.
2. Treadmill Motor Size
Commercial 1750 Treadmill: 3.5 CHP
Commercial 2450 Treadmill: 3.6 CHP
The New Commercial 2450 has a slightly more powerful CHP DurX Commercial Plus motor — 3.6 vs. 3.5 CHP for the New 1750 treadmill. You’re not going to be to tell the difference when using either treadmill however, as a rule of thumb, when it comes to a treadmill motor, a larger treadmill motor is preferable especially if you're training for a half or full marathon. But for the most part in this comparison, these motors are suitably sized for durability, longer runs, and supporting daily multiple users – to learn more about motors please refer to our NordicTrack Treadmill Buying Guide.
Nordictrack makes Good Treadmill Motors
The motor is one of the more critical aspects when considering the right treadmill, and this one area NordicTrack excels. They have the experience and know how to build a treadmill motor that is durable and is sized correctly for its use.
Both these commercial treadmills' motors are self-cooling and feature Smart-Response to reduce vibration. These higher-quality motors also help support iFit connected-Fitness interactive features like, AutoAdjust and SmartAdjust. Your iFit trainer is constantly changing in real-time, your treadmills speed and running deck incline to match the studio class or the terrain elevation you happen to be running, walking, or hiking through, which in our opinion places Nordictrack Treadmills above other treadmill brands like the Peloton Tread.

3. Treadmill Footprint
The latest NordicTrack 2450 footprint is slightly smaller and will take-up a little less floor space. This may make a difference where it will fit into your home workout space or gym.

NordicTrack 2450 treadmill is: 78.5 L x 35.6 W x 65 H inches.
Both these Commercial treadmill models are foldable, which means the running deck is designed to be lifted up to save space. Besides space savings, this ability makes it easier to move the treadmill around or to even clean under the treadmill deck which proved useful. With a soft tap of the foot the on the support bar the running deck gently descends to the floor by itself, using NordicTrack‘s EasyAssist feature.

Trainer Led Destination Workouts
In the End – Final Thoughts
NordicTrack is a proven leader in innovating treadmill technology and exercise equipment for home and commercial gyms. It has continued to innovate, recently updating the Commercial Series line-up with better Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, hi-performance motors, touchscreen enhancements, and a constant release of newer workout sessions.
But it's their seamless connected-fitness integration with iFit that pulls it all together for this impressive treadmill series and makes you say WOW!
If you can swing the extra $800, the larger screen is actually nice to have. It provides a larger viewing area of stunning destinations that iFit offers and much improved views when cross-training off-the-treadmill. The NordicTrack New 1750 treadmill is also excellent value at $2,199 and is a seriously durable treadmill for where it will be used by multiple users and for longer frequent runs over 35 minutes.
You cannot go wrong with either treadmill options to get your walks or runs in and have access to all the “off-the-treadmill” iFit workout options, including boxing, yoga, strength training, plus other genres.
Overall, the fresh design for the New NordicTrack Commercial treadmill has an open minimalist look and feels more spacious to run on. We enjoyed the slimmed-down frame with its improved functional console over the original 1750 and 2450 models.
Our Take. maybeyesno highly recommends the new NordicTrack Commercial treadmill series for those looking for a feature-rich treadmill at a mid-range price.
