Oscar Deen, an independent UK eyewear brand, was founded in 2015 by friends Oscar Phillips and Sherriff-Deen Showobi. after a chance meeting with an eyewear collector, the pair scoured European flea markets, private collections, and archives of their favorite King’s Cross store to find inspiration to design their own frames. They updated vintage classics with modern detail, and Oscar Deen was born.
They loved the idea of turning old, classic gems into something new and exciting without discarding their history. They utilized traditional eyewear materials with modern-day construction features for a high-quality product. The duo collaborated with legend Mazzucchelli, an Italian company making eyewear since 1849.

Defined by a chic style and a hint of nostalgia, Oscar Deen frames are made with an Italian acetate that is organic, nontoxic, and biodegradable. The frames are hand crafted designs while the lenses are made in London from organic lightweight CR-39 plastic, coated for ultraviolet light-blocking sun protection and are lightweight and sturdy.
The creative pair continue to travel Europe to find the latest additions to add to their treasure chest of inspiring, cool, and beautiful frames.

Morris Frames were a brainstorm hailing from Kings Cross, London. Based on the 1950s American ‘Safety Series’ vintage, the lens depth has been increased to allow for the hard lines to blend into the elegant silhouette style frames, with a hint of brow inclined borrowed from German design.

Fraser sunglasses were discovered deep in the arches of North London, with delicate lines and a strong brow these 1960s Italian bifocal styles are like aviators. The squared-off lenses are softened by an angled central brow detailing.

Nelson frames were inspired by a tip that took the founders to a beachside market in Barcelona, Spain. In the 1950s Americana style reminiscent of standard army issue, the face has been broadened, the bridge keyholed and the brow softened.

Pinto was inspired by a pair found in the flea markets in Paris, made in France during the 1940s. The keyhole bridge is slightly raised, while the lower frame mirrors the top for a modern look.
