Parachute founder Ariel Kaye decided to create her own sheets and bedding because she did not find the perfection she was looking for at her local stores and voilà, Parachute was born. Initially Specializing in both bedding and home decor, Parachute has expended its home offerings to furniture and even a natural eco-friendly hybrid mattress.
Parachute sheets are manufactured by true artisans who have been weaving world class bedding for over 80 years. Based out LA Parachute Home designs sheets; duvet covers and merino blankets in beautiful colors. Their bedding uses eco-friendly materials and can also be seen in their baby bedding Collection as well.

You can buy the sets or individual pieces so you can mix and match the colors.
Duvet Cover features twill ties in all four corners. All Parachute Pillowcases have an envelope enclosure on the back, not the standard one open end. The buttons on the duvet are rubberized and tuck away nicely inside for an elegant, finished look.

A queen sets start at $379 for a duvet cover, fitted sheet, flat sheet and 2 pillowcases. You can purchase the items separately for different looks. There are seven colors available white, cream, clay, putty, light grey, blush and slate.

We found only slight shrinkage after washing and drying the sheets six times over a one-week period. The fitted sheet still fit a 16” mattress easily and remained in place overnight with no issues. The sheets are soft yet sturdy, not thin & flimsy.
The percale Parachute sheets are sourced and handcrafted in Porto, Portugal.

THE FEEL + UNDER THE COVER
The fabric is naturally soft and cooling.
Unlike other bedding brands, Parachute does not artificially soften its fabrics with silicon, formaldehyde or toxic chemicals. The 100% long-staple Egyptian cotton is in its purest and most natural form. It will continue to soften with use and washing.
The Percale is cool and crisp to the touch. The fabric goes through a stonewashed process which gives it a soft texture and a more casual appearance. Percale is also very breathable and will get softer with continued use. Because Parachute does not use synthetic finishes to expedite the softening process, at first the sheets feel a bit stiff but with a few washings the sheets soften up and continue to do so.
